Christine Trimpe, Seeking Joy in the Gospel of Luke

You all know how I love Christmas, Advent, joy and all things related to those things. Today I welcome Christine Trimpe to talk about her amazing new book, Seeking Joy in the Gospel of Luke. This book finds joy in every single chapter of Luke, making it a true Christmas to Calvary countdown!

Christine and I chatted about her journey from a casual Christian to a woman who delights in God's word so much, she can't wait to get up in the morning and spend time with her. She calls that her "Bible and beans" time.  She is so fun, you will love getting to know her.

Kanide Horton, The hard and holy work her husband, Brad did

I always love my time with Kandie. The two of us can laugh like crazy!

We've known each other for 25 years and shared the joy, the grief and mundane of life.

Erin Nestico, Finding her voice after abuse

Erin's story of abuse begins in high school. The signs were subtle at first, and her low self-esteem kept her from seeing what was going on.

Leslie Konhaeuser, Breath prayer and landmarks

Leslie has two little ones, not a baby and a toddler but two babies. Of course, this changed the dynamic of her household tremendously. Her faith and her relationship with Jesus remained a priority. So how does she do all of this? She does breath prayer, something you may do without realizing it is a thing. She has landmarks throughout her day to remind herself nothing lasts forever, and she is open and honest with those closest to her.
